Intention or desire?

Intention - is the primary volitional impulse to change reality. For any ordinary desire is intention. The problem is that the intention of not getting out into the world, because the encounters ego. At the time of the collision produces ego desire. Desire - a product of the ego. This does not mean that the desire to "not working." Concentration on the desire, of course, is not very effective tool to influence reality, but working.

Only need to do it properly. If you concentrate on the desire, that is specifically what you want to achieve, you override this site "event-stream" energy, and there it turns stagnant, in which the flow is slowed down. The more you "want", the more it turns stagnant place, and the more difficult to get there, that is, events difficult to move in the right direction. To effectively achieve the goal of his desire to concentrate so that it would be held as "through" the event you want, without dwelling on it. Then you specify the concentration of its event-flow movement in the right direction. I've heard a lot of stories about how people, such as late for the train, and form the "intent" is not to be late, and the circumstances are appropriate. Sometimes works, sometimes not.

In the case where worked - it still is not the intention, but just properly drawn will. This method is limited, because the ego - the phenomenon of imperfect, immature in terms of the evolution of consciousness. This is similar to the child's wishes - if he can properly articulate desire, parents can allow him to do what he wants. But they can not be resolved if it is harmful to the child. In extreme cases, if the child is too insists he can just smack one seat. You see the analogy? Orders can only be properly executed will, charged with enough energy, and most importantly, fit into the kind of event-driven logic, that is, well, harmless.

If you manage to "press" his "general concern" desire by high concentration, you just will bump your  head. And it's painful. now intent. It is possible only in a state of temporary or permanent elimination of the ego. At this point you will fall off all desires, you become all the same. However, you lose the border itself, and dissolve in reality. That is, you lose yourself and find the reality. And including you merge with the very event-stream.

Or rather not. You just disappear, and that empty space that is left up to you, absorbs all of reality, including the event-stream. other words, some vital substance, which used enliven your ego, now animates reality rather mixed with the vital substance of reality itself. And here at the intersection of all this is born intention. Its distinctive feature - you do not have the feeling that you are doing something, or intend to concentrate. Just turns out that the reality of being painted as if your "life" itself is changing in line with a predisposition, often called "dharma."
